Our story

22+ years of doing cleaning differently.

The Clean Crew started because cleaning was being treated as a throwaway job, easy to ignore and never really valued. We thought it deserved better.

22+ years on, we're a team of 28, trusted by more than 150 Hawke's Bay businesses, and proudly carbon neutral. We've put a lot into our crew, our gear, and the tech that lets you see what we do, but the heart of it hasn't changed: care, consistency, and doing the job properly.

Founder and owner

A personal touch goes a long way in business.

Gary is the proud owner of The Clean Crew. With a background in retail management and hands-on cleaning experience, he understands the work from every angle. When you call, you know there is a local owner standing behind the service.

Gary is NZQA qualified, including Infection Control training, and holds an NZQA Assessor qualification. He believes the business is only as good as its people, so continuous training, trust, and pride in the work remain central to how the team operates.
